Several things led to our termination:
- My Drive to do the right thing – part pathology, part vision.
- My wife’s illness.
- The mismatch of expectations between the church and us.
- The sloppy recruiting process.
- The vast difference in values between a liberal church and a conservative pastor.
- A failure on the part of church leaders to actually lead.
